Who are we ?
Pascal Diot is founding IDPL in 1998 after having been working for 23 years in the International departments of 5 French big groups (TF1, TELE-HACHETTE, UGC, CANAL+ and PATHE as head of the international Department). In 1999, IDPL is co-producing his first feature film with ASMIC-ACE, KUROSAWA PRODUCTION and 7 FILMS CINEMA. This is the last film writtent by Akira Kurosawa “AME AGARU” and directed by Takashi Koizumi. In September 2003, Pascal Diot starts a new international sales and production company with a European financing, ONOMA. From 2003 to 2008, ONOMA sells feature films and documentaries and co-produces among others THE FORSAKEN LAND by Vimukthi Jayasundara (Golden Camera in Cannes 2006), JE T’AIME MOI NON PLUS directed by Maria de Medeiros (2007), etc. In 2011, IDPL is opening a new department dedicated to the creation and organization of Markets, Festivals and Events (Filmmart in Dubai, Venice Production Bridge, Frontières, etc.) (See details in the Markets and Festivals tab). Simultaneously, IDPL has produced 3 documentaries, 1 long feature and 1 stage play (see Production tab). In 2013, IDPL launches two professional seminars, headed by Elisabeth Diot, a known screenwriter, reader and script writing teacher, which are starting in February 2014 in Crete. Pascal Diot is also a international consultant for institutional organizations (MEDIA, EUROMED, ORGANISATION INTERNATIONALE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE, MINISTERE DES AFFAIRES ETRANGERES…), festivals (Dubai, Cannes –Producers Network -, Singapore…), professional training programmes (EAVE, ACE, INA, FEMIS, DIXIT, TORINOFILM LAB, PRODUIRE AU SUD(Nantes, Bangkok, Buenos Aires), ISCPA) and companies (SND/M6, THE COPRODUCTION OFFICE, WIDE). |
